Three gas–liquid dispersion states including flooding, loading, and complete dispersion are observed sequentially in a jet bubbling reactor with an increase of the liquid jet velocity at the nozzle outlet (uj). The gas–liquid dispersion states are identified through the slope (k) of the curve of fluctuation distribution index (FI) versus uj as follows: (a) under the flooding, k = 0; (b) under the loading, k > 0; (c) under the complete dispersion, k < 0. In particular, the uj at the transition points from flooding to loading and from loading to complete dispersion are referred to flooding jet velocity (ujf, the transition point between k = 0 and k > 0) and complete dispersion jet velocity (ujcd, the transition point from k > 0 to k < 0), respectively. The average relative deviations of the uj at the transition points obtained through the acoustic emission measurement and visual observation are less than 5%. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the consumer acceptance and preference of a novel cheese coagulated with vegetal rennet and microbial transglutaminase (V + TG) as an alternative for lacto‐vegetarian consumers. The evolution of the sensory and instrumental parameters throughout the storage time was studied. Cheese with animal rennnet and microbial transglutaminase (A + TG), vegetal rennet alone (V) and animal rennet alone (A) were also studied as controls. The consumer test showed that the V + TG cheese was preferred and showed high texture and taste acceptance scores. The aim of the present study was to compare the information provided by a discrete and continuous data analysis of two emotions (disgust and joy), elicited by bitter-tasting beverages (coffee, yerba mate infusion and grapefruit juice) in two groups with different body mass index (BMI): overweight group (25 < BMI < 30), and healthy-weight control group (18.5 < BMI ≤ 25). Participants (n = 66; 34 females, 32 males) evaluated a total of three consecutive sips of the same beverage (taking one sip every 20 s and registering a continuous video for 60 s). The Wilcoxon test (continuous analysis) showed some changes generated as the drinks were being consumed. The biggest difference was the expression of disgust for coffee in the high BMI group, at the first sip (0–10 s). It represented 27% compared to 2% in normal BMI. The present work concentrates on some physical investigation of the undoped and Cr doped SnO2 thin films deposited onto precleaned glass substrates by the spray pyrolysis system. The physical properties of the undoped and Cr doped SnO2 thin films were investigated by the X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force electron microscope (AFM), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), four-probe method and double beam spectrophotometer. The undoped and Cr doped SnO2 films display a polycrystalline nature with orthorhombic crystal structure. The linear optical constants energy gap Eg, refractive index n, absorption coefficient α, static refractive index no, oscillation energy Eo, dispersion energy Ed and the Urbach energy of the undoped and Cr doped SnO2 thin films were evaluated. The investigated films exhibit a direct energy gap and their values decrease with the increasing of Cr doping content while the Urbach energy follows a reverse behavior. On the other hand, the nonlinear optical constants (third-order nonlinear susceptibility and nonlinear refractive index n2) have been increased with increasing the Cr doping content. Finally, it has been found that the sheet resistance and conductivity of the synthesized thin films were enhanced by increasing the Cr doping content. The mixing performance of the oil‐in‐water dispersion system was evaluated. Using an electrical resistance tomography system composed of two measuring planes, the effect of parameters such as impeller type, impeller speed, oil type, and oil volume fraction on the mixing performance through axial mixing indices were explored. The oil type and the oil volume fraction were identified as the most influential factors on the mixing index. Castor oil, with the highest viscosity of the tested oils, was found as the most difficult oil to disperse. The Scaba impeller was the most efficient impeller in dispersing oil in water. The interactions between oil type and impeller type as well as between impeller speed and oil type, had the greatest impact on the mixing index. 相似文献
